NiacinamideNiacinamide is the amide form of nicotinic acid (Niacin) and is often used interchangeably with niacin. Some prefer it because it does not create a flush as does niacin. Though it is used interchangeably, & though distinctions on the differences in action between the two are not easily found in the literature.* According to Oxford University cardiovascular researcher J E Digby, "Nicotinic acid(NIACIN) is the most potent treatment clinically available for lowering LDL cholesterol and VLDL cholesterol and raising HDL cholesterol."
See Niacin for all other details.* DIRECTIONS: As above or on product label.
