L-ProlineProline is a non-essential amino acid which can be formed from the amino acids, glutamate, ornithine, & arginine, or obtained from protein foods such as meat, cottage cheese, & wheat germ. It is found in high concentrations in collagen & is particularly important for musculoskeletal health. Collagen is comprised of almost one third proline residues.
