Get fresh organic ginger at store about 1 pound at a time.
Get Mr Coffee coffee maker or similar
Clean ginger and cut into ½ inch pieces and put 1 and ½ cups of it into Nutribullet or food processor (if already have one) and add ½ cup water. Grind until there are no pieces left and it is mushy.
Put about 1/2-3/4 cup of the mushy ginger in the bottom of the coffee pot (and refrigerate the rest for later use). Put 11 cups of water into the coffee maker and turn on. After the hot water has gone into the coffee pot leave the coffee maker on for another 15 minutes.
Let cool and strain then refrigerate. Drink it through the day. It can be lightly sweetened with stevia to taste, if desired.
