Dietary saturated fats, alcohol, refined carbohydrates & sweetened beverages can increase the risk of breast cancer. Dietary fiber, indoles, flavonols, vitamin C, E, beta-carotene, selenium & soy reduce the risk. Add freshly ground flax seed 2-4 tablespoons daily in divided doses. A high intake of essential fatty acids is associated with a decreased risk of breast cancer.
