DMSO is synthesized from wood products. Crown-Zellerbach Corporation supplies most of the DMSO to the U.S. Both marine & fresh water algae & plankton give off DMSO. Sea grass produces DMSO. Brewer's yeast releases DMSO.
DMSO has the ability to penetrate the skin where it then exerts anti-inflammatory action, reducing pain & swelling & improving joint mobility. It increases blood flow throughout the body & speeds healing processes. DMSO is a powerful scavenger of the damaging hydroxyl free radicals in the body which are associated with arthritis. It can prevent free radicals from destroying the lubricating fluid in the joints if used early & regularly in the disease process.

Relief from minor chronic pain can be within 5-30 minutes. Relief from minor chronic pain may take from 1-6 weeks or longer of regular use.
Many DMSO applications are in a 70-90% application but may burn & be a bit irritating to the skin. This cream is 50% DMSO. It will burn less & irritate less, but it will likely still sting for a short while - you can fan it a few minutes, if you like - & your skin may temporarily redden.

DIRECTIONS:
- Apply to the affected area & to a larger area extending around the problem area, i.e. in an ankle injury apply to the entire foot, ankle & leg up to the knee.
- Frequency of application depends upon whether the condition is acute or chronic.
- In acute injuries: Apply every 2 hours up to 6-8 hours following the injury. Then for the next 5 days or so apply once every 4-6 hours. Thereafter, apply twice daily as needed.
- Chronic conditions require longer regimens. Apply twice daily to the affected area.
Do not expose the area treated with DMSO to household or other toxic chemicals up to 5 hours after applying
