Chitosan

Chitosan is a dietary fiber derived from chitin, a polysaccharide derived from the shells of crustaceans. Chitosan does not contain any appreciable amounts of toxic minerals such as mercury, which have been found in the meaty portions of certain shellfish. Like other fibers, Chitosan tends to increase stool bulk and hydration, and acts as a catalyst for colonic microflora, all of which helps support normal transit time.

When compared to 22 other kinds of dietary fibers in a study on laboratory animals, Chitosan was the strongest "fat magnet" of all, 30% better than its closest competitor.*

DIRECTIONS: As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules with 8 oz of water 30-40 minutes prior to 1-2 meals per day, or as directed by physican.

A high quality essential fatty acid supplement such as Flax Seed Oil, along with ample fat soluble vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, & vitamin K should be taken at a meal apart from Chitosan supplementation.

Drink at least 64 oz, or 8 full glasses of pure water a day.
