Liquid Cal/Mag can be laxative which is a godsend for some and undesirable for others, so this property also determines who should use it. If you tend toward constipation you may want to choose this product. If you already have loose stools, choose from among other preparations such as Cal-Apatite, or Bone-Up.*

DIRECTIONS: This product is best taken on an empty stomach, usually upon arising & at bedtime is easiest. It is soothing to the stomach.*
- Divide dose into 2-3 divided doses.
- The amount you take depends upon how much you are getting in your multi- vitamin mineral - then you can make up the difference with this.
- Use the calcium total when figuring your doses.
- Premenopausal women - 800-1200 mg calcium daily.
- Postmenopausal women - 1200-1500 mg calcium daily.
- Those with bone loss - 1400-2000 mg calcium daily.
- Pregnant women - 1400-1600 mg calcium daily.
- Breast feeding women - 2000 mg calcium daily.
- Men - 800-1000 mg calcium daily.*
