We use only HIGHLY ABSORBABLE calcium amino acid chelate and magnesium amino acid chelate, the most bio-available form of calcium and magnesium. The process of chelation makes the calcium and magnesium in CAL-MAG the most bio-available and easily absorbable minerals available. Minerals in general, are not easily absorbed into the blood stream causing many of the minerals you take to be excreted. In the process of chelation, the individual calcium and magnesium molecules are bonded to amino acids. It essence the minerals become surrounded by amino acids, fooling the body into believing that the mineral is actually an amino acid. Amino acids are easily absorbed by your body taking the minerals with them. Chelated minerals are the mot bio-available form of mineral.*
