Metagest - HCL / Pepsin / Herbal Bitters ComboMetagest is a combination product designed to aid digestion in your stomach. It contains Betaine HCL* which is discussed at length elsewhere. Pepsin, which is a protein digesting enzyme of your gastric juice, and gentian root, which aids digestive processes.* Metagest & Betaine HCL are very similar in effects but Dr. Slagle's patients have specific preferences for one or the other & find subtle differences.* Do not use with peptic or duodenal ulcer.
